Sundays are usually relaxed family days in our household. Comfy clothes and yummy food! This Sunday, I enlisted my husband to help me complete my “Create with Mrs. Cubbison’s” mission.  Anyone who knows us, knows that cooking is not my husband’s strong point! The kitchen is like a foreign country to him. That said, I don’t claim to be an amazing chef either, LOL. And by the way, I am just picking on him… No, he can’t cook, but he is a great help in every other way :-)  We function as a team around here!

We decided on chicken because my family all loves chicken that I make.  The kids refer to it as “My Favorite Chicken.” I used the Chef Paul Prudhommes Poultry Magic Seasoning Blend as a rub on the chicken before I added my “secret’ glaze/marinade recipe.  It did seem to add a nice bit of  flavor to the chicken.  And the Poultry Magic is an all-around seasoning that you can use in many ways.

We were able to try out the NEW Multi-Grain Stuffing with Cranberries.  I used apple juice instead of broth or water.  The stuffing was so simple and quick to make! Easy enough for even the most cooking-challenged folks. {You may know who I am referring to, LOL}  It was very tasty and added a bit of flair to our meal.  Look for it in stores SOON!

My husband and kids enjoyed the meal so much, my kitchen was all cleaned and picked up to perfection within 20 minutes after dinner… and I didn’t lift a finger! My husband said he wanted to secure that I know how much they all enjoyed a good meal and they are looking forward to more very soon :-)

I’d use the stuffing for Thanksgiving dinner and the crotons in a Ceasar salad

Once a week I make homemade chicken pot pie. All of this would be so perfect for it as it would add so much flavor and give it a brand new look and taste!

I would grill some chicken and put some of the seasoning on it, make a salad with the dried fruit, onions and croutons, make stuffing and use the mustard in with oil and vinegar to make a salad dressing.

Jessica R. October 16, 2011 at 11:38 pm

I would try a new stuffing recipe with it. Make some kind of chicken to go along with it.
