My kids and I had the opportunity to review a VTech MobiGO Touch Learning System and Game Storage Cartridge.
The Review:
My thoughts are that it is very easy to use. This was one of the easiest learning systems for the kids to catch on to. At 3.5, Little Diva is satisfied and challenged a bit by most of the games. At 6.5, Little Man found most of it to be a bit too easy for him. He does enjoy tinkering with all the different games and getting high scores. Confidence booster! His favorite game was the Shooting Gallery Duck game where you had to use the keyboard to hit the letter that was on the duck to knock it down. I think that maybe some of the actual games offered on the cartridges might be more on his level.
The touch screen and screen flipping up to reveal the full QWERTY keyboard remind me of a cell phone. Of course, the MobiGo is larger than a cell phone. The touch screen is used a lot in the games.
Little Diva loves the Squirrel Game where you have to draw lines to help the squirrel make it through the forest. She likes helping him collect nuts. I can see where it would help her apply some problem-solving and fine motor skills.
The MobiGo Storage Cartridge allows kids to have all of their favorite downloadable games with them in one place. You insert the cartridge into your MobiGo, connect it to the computer, download your games from the VTech Learning Lodge, and they are automatically stored on your cartridge. Learning on-the-go with your favorite educational toy has never been so easy! This is a pretty neat feature.
I look forward to trying out some of the game cartridges. There are many MobiGo games to choose from including kids favorites Tangled, Super Hero Squad, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Toy Story! From what I can see, it looks like there are about 17 titles to choose from. Each game focuses on an age group and different skills.
Overall, it is another techy little learning toy that can be found at a reasonable price. It is the perfect size and weight for preschool hands. The edges are lined in a soft rubber to make it more comfortable.
The Deal:
The Vtech – MobiGo Touch Learning System can be purchased for $49.96 on Amazon. You can also find it in stores like WalMartand Toys R Us. They offer the colors pictured above and a pink and purple one. The game cartridges retail for about $20 each.

I have twins that were born premie. They are now 3 and have some learning and developmental delays. Learning toys are awesome and help out so much. It helps with fine motor skills because they have to press a button to get a response and it helps with their speech because they love to try to repeat what they hear. This would go to them. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity!!
musical fun choo choo
I bought each of my kids (ages 3-5) the ABC Text & Go for Christmas. I had to buy three because I think they will all like it and probably fight over who gets to play with it first. The MobiGo would be a great addition. We love VTech!
