I had the opportunity to review Rock N’ Learn -Sight Words.

Rock ‘N Learn’s Description:

Sight Words are the most frequently used words in the English language, and this DVD helps students read them automatically. As a supplement to phonics-based strategies, Rock ‘N Learn Sight Words boosts reading and spelling skills. Children learn over 60 sight words through engaging characters, entertaining songs, and fun practice. Words are presented in context to help build reading comprehension. Includes all pre-primer Dolch words, the top 20 from Fry’s, and more. A bonus section helps kids with word shapes and spelling skills.

My Review:

I have done a few different Rock N’ Learn DVD reviews recently and my kids and I have become huge fans. I love finding educational videos for my children that teach them while incorporating fun!!

Sight Words is a super fun DVD. The animation is wonderful with bright colors and fun characters.  Sight Words is filled with action, colors, music, and learning!!

My children loved all the different types of characters including the robot, animals and people.  The rock-n-roll music is always a hit with my children and this DVD is no exception! My daughter was running around the house singing the songs and dancing during and after watching Sight Words. I loved how this DVD worked on reading simple words in sentences. This was great for my son who is all about reading now.

I have a 3 year old daughter that is getting really good with her number counting, colors, shapes, but we are having a hard time with the Alphabet so I think those titles I would like best. Alphabet, Alphabet Exercise, or Alphabet Circus:)
