We are really excited to share with you that we have recently had the great opportunity to review some Educational Insights products.  We are in love with this company and all of their educational and fun games and toys!

A bit about Educational Insights:

Based in Southern California, Educational Insights, is the manufacturer of playful products with serious educational value, including subject-specific classroom products, teacher resources, educational toys, and games. Our products are designed by seasoned educators and parents who know that, first and foremost, learning must be fun.

The next products we  chose to test out were the Hot Dots Jr Card Sets with Hot Dots Jr “Ace” the talking teaching Dog.  Since Lil’ Princess is 2.5 years old, I chose The Alphabet and Numbers & Counting Card Sets. Lil’ Princess knows the letter A and can spot it out anywhere simply because thats what her name starts with. I have to laugh at how vain she may be! I thought the Alphabet cards would be a great way for me to introduce the other letters to her.  As soon as we popped a battery in “Ace” she was excited and ready to learn.  She really enjoyed “Ace” talking to her and it didn’t take her long to figure out how to match the letters.  The Numbers and Counting cards have helped us to teach her counting in sequence.

The cards come a great little box with a handle for easy clean up and storage.  These carrying cases also make it easy to bring along when your going to a family member’s house or even out to eat. I love sending educational toys with her when she visits her grandparents!

From Educational Insights:

Alphabet Cards: Getting ready for school has never been this fun! Set of 72 alphabet activities on 36 double-sided cards teach children all they need for success including upper and lowercase letters and sequencing. For use with Hot Dots® Jr. Ace the Talking, Teaching Dog (2350), available separately. Grades PreK+.
Numbers & Counting: Getting ready for school has never been this fun! Set of 72 numbers & counting activities on 36 double-sided cards teach children all they need for success including number words and sequencing.
