Do you have a pet – Are you a pet parent?

To many of us, our pets are our furry children.  Unfortunately, accidents and emergencies happen.  We have plans in place for our human family members – we really should have a plan in place to make sure our pets are taken care of too, right?  If you were in an accident at home or while traveling with your pet, what would happen to them?  Many times a separation occurs and/or an inability to communicate delays proper pet care.  The pet may end up in a shelter or worse the pet may become lost.

Having an emergency action plan in place is part of being a responsible pet parent.  The The Wag’N Rover Respond’R Mobile Emergency Kit allows us to create a plan.  I have our kit all filled out and in our glove compartment.

Since I have no children, I have five (5) pets that I love dearly! Maggie, my 5 year-old, short-legged rat terrier, is my little bundle of joy since I have no children. Her pal, Tweety, a nearly year old tabby cat, keeps Maggie busy while I take care of normal activities during the day. My guard grrrrr-animals are Ginger (4 year-old yellow lab), Chien Noir (1 1/2 year old black lab) and Dapper (a 2 year old German Shepard and Masiff Mix). They are all quite a handful needless to say but I don’t know what I would do without them.

I have a dog named Sadie who was a rescue I got about a year and a half ago. She is my baby and like a kid to me! She is the best thing that has happened to me, and I am thankful she came into my life!
