I am big on recycling.  I have been recycling for as long as I can remember and I have to say it ticks me off when people don’t do it.  I mean it really is a simple thing we each can do to save a little piece of our world.  I grew up in Upstate NY and honestly, I don’t recall anyone not recycling.  I always held a belief we had to recycle or we would have to pay fines… I do not know if this is true or not, but it was just that ingrained in me.  When I have visited friends in other states and seen that they didn’t recycle or didn’t even seem to know much about it – it baffled me.  I once asked a friend why she didn’t recycle and she said “because I don’t have to.”  Really!? I told her maybe she should want to, to save the earth for her kids and grandchildren :-)

I recently just reviewed the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler.
Hidden Recycler can fit a milk jug

I love that the Hidden Recycler attaches to the inside of a cabinet door – keeping recyclables out of sight and my counters clear of the clutter. The bag collects your recyclables and then you easily lift the bag from the lid and cabinet by the handle to take them out to your recycle bin.

Product features:

  • Hinged lid attaches to cabinet door with over the door hooks or screws
  • Bag is made from 65% post-consumer resin
  • Bag is machine washable
  • Comfortable handle for transport
  • 5 gallon bag holds 36 uncrushed cans and is large enough to fit 1 gallon milk jugs
  • Great for single stream recyclers
  • Great for apartment living
