We had the pleasure of meeting an amazing urban cowgirl, Suzanne from Suzy Sirloin, while we were in New York City at BlogHer this summer.  I recently had the pleasure of reviewing some Steaks and Meatball mix from Suzy Sirloin. Now,  it’s no secret that I love to cook.  Being presented with the opportunity to review some quality food was right up my alley!! I was sent a Beef Boneless Ribeye, Beef Boneless New York Strip and the Meatball Mix…  All I can say is AMAZING!!!

Suzanne also has her own NEW line of consumer products, Suzy Sirloin, available throughout the city at most grocery stores. She created the brand Suzy Sirloin to give at-home chefs easy access to lean, all-natural beef, lamb, pork, veal, turkey and chicken with no hormones or antibiotics for healthy and stress-free dinners at home.  Shipped frozen straight to the doorstep and ready to cook! Great for busy families!  A product that I really love that Suzy offers is Kids Cuts.  Kids Cuts are a perfect option , an easy choice for moms as they are cut and sized for children’s meals and ready-to-cook when delivered straight to the doorstep!!

Dinner #1:

We love grilling steaks in our house so the first thing we tried were the Ribeye and the New York Strip. The man of the house is the “grill master,” so we lightly seasoned them with our favorite grill rub and threw them on the grill. We each wanted to try both cuts, so we cut them in half .  That way we could each have them cooked to our preference. He prefers the steaks to be rare, I prefer mine to be medium well.

When we brought the steaks in, I have to tell ya’ll,  we were pretty excited with anticipation. Suzy had me at first bite!!  I was in heaven… complete heaven. The meat literally melts in your mouth with amazing flavor. I looked to his plate and he had ate both steaks without even touching his potatoes or corn. I started laughing and asked him he if he liked the steaks. His response was “These are AMAZING, can we get more?” I have to admit I was thinking the same thing!!

Dinner #2:

The second night, we tried the Meatball Mix. I mixed the meatball mix with some breadcrumbs, an egg, garlic, and italian seasonings. I cooked the meatballs on the stove and placed them in our favorite sauce for meatball subs. Once again, Suzy Sirloin meat came through and we weren’t disappointed. The meatballs were very flavorful and juicy, melt in your mouth yummy!! I normally make a good meatball but these were even better!!  I cannot stress AMAZING enough!

My family was very pleased with the steaks and meatballs that we recieved from Suzy Sirloin!! I know Suzy Sirloin will be expected in my home again! I love that it tasted so amazing. Even more, I loved that it was all natural with no added hormones or antibiotics!! It felt really good to feed my family something I knew was healthy for them!!
