Gratitude, Thankfulness, Gratefulness, & Appreciation

Since today is November 1st, I thought it would be a perfect time to give thanks and encourage everyone else to do the same!

We are firm believers that what you put it out into the universe is what you will receive back! One of our favorite books is, The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. If you haven’t read it, you really should.  It is a great reference to remind us of what is important and to stay positive.

In the busy world we live in today, it is so easy to forget to give gratitude.  To be grateful for what we have. To appreciate our loved ones.  To show humility.  To express Thanks.

With Thanksgiving coming,  I thought we would do a segment of posts for 30 Days of Gratitude!!  Please join us in the next month in thinking positively and expressing gratitude.  Try it with us and see if you feel better in general after a month of living more positively!

Day 1:

With the recent Superstorm Sandy, I feel it is important to start off by being grateful for my family. I am thankful that we have are healthy and have a safe place to dwell. I am thankful that I am surrounded by people that love me and support me. I am grateful that I have people to show love and accept it unconditionally!

Challenge 1:

Tell the people you love how much you appreciate them and how grateful you are that you have them in your lives!!  Make a surprise visit to a loved one.  Pick up the phone and tell someone that you appreciate them and why.  It doesn’t matter how you do it, just do it.  Make sure the important people in your life know that you are grateful to have them with you.

Gratitude Giveaway:

We would love to hear from any of you who choose to take this challenge with us.  Most of all, we really feel like it will make people feel better and live more positively.  But, as an extra perk, one grateful Deal Hunting Diva reader will win a $25 Amazon code at the end of the 30 days.

Complete each daily challenge and then simply post a comment telling us how you completed it. Leave a comment on each challenge you complete to earn an entry!  (Make sure to leave your email address in the contact info, so we can contact you if you are the winner) Come back every day to take this journey of gratitude with us!!

Who do you appreciate and are grateful to have in your life today?  Have you told them today?

I first told my family how very much I love them. Next I told the women in my Bible study how much I appreciate each one if them. Last but certainly not least I told my Heavenly Father how much I need Him and how grateful I am that He is always there.
