Gratitude, Thankfulness, Gratefulness, & Appreciation

This November, I thought it would be a perfect time to give thanks and encourage everyone else to do the same!

We are firm believers that what you put it out into the universe is what you will receive back! One of our favorite books is, The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. If you haven’t read it, you really should.  It is a great reference to remind us of what is important and to stay positive.

In the busy world we live in today, it is so easy to forget to give gratitude.  To be grateful for what we have. To appreciate our loved ones.  To show humility.  To express Thanks.

With Thanksgiving coming,  I thought we would do a segment of posts for 30 Days of Gratitude!!  Please join us in the next month in thinking positively and expressing gratitude.  Try it with us and see if you feel better in general after a month of living more positively!

Day 7:

Often we can forget to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. We focus on what we don’t have and don’t show love to what we hold. The way to bring more things you want and love into your life is to be happy and appreciate what you have. Today,  I appreciate all the beauty I have in my life!

Challenge 7:

Today be grateful for what you have! Take a picture of something beautiful in your life and share it with others.

Gratitude Giveaway:

We would love to hear from any of you who choose to take this challenge with us.  Most of all, we really feel like it will make people feel better and live more positively.  But, as an extra perk, one grateful Deal Hunting Diva reader will win a $25 Amazon code at the end of the 30 days.

Complete each daily challenge and then simply post a comment telling us how you completed it. Leave a comment on each challenge you complete to earn an entry!  (Make sure to leave your email address in the contact info, so we can contact you if you are the winner) Come back every day to take this journey of gratitude with us!!

What beauty did you share with others?

Leave a comment below!

Just coming aboard?  You can start today!  No worries.  The point is to live with more gratitude.  See the rest of the Gratitude Challenge and join us.

My boyfriend is going through an extremely rough time & stands to unjustly lose everything and there is nothing he can do to stop it. Needless to say, he’s afraid about the future & can imagine only a very negative future. I’m sure that didn’t want to hear it &I was a little scared to say it, but, I told him to look out his window & see the beauty that surrounds him, the blue ocean, the beautiful hills, the palm trees, tropical foliage, the clear aqua sky, and to try to remember that no matter how bad things get, at least he gets to deal with them living in Hawaii. And nothing says beauty quite like does Hawaii;-)

I took my 15 month old son out for a walk today, and he has an obsession with trees, always staring.. we stopped together to look at a bush that had these really pretty blue flowers growing on it.. although it bored me rather quickly he was so thrilled with it so we stood there for a few minutes just checking it out.. I pulled off a part of the branch with flowers on it and they were his source of entertainment for the rest of our walk…
