Gratitude, Thankfulness, Gratefulness, & Appreciation

This November, I thought it would be a perfect time to give thanks and encourage everyone else to do the same!

We are firm believers that what you put it out into the universe is what you will receive back! One of our favorite books is, The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. If you haven’t read it, you really should.  It is a great reference to remind us of what is important and to stay positive.

In the busy world we live in today, it is so easy to forget to give gratitude.  To be grateful for what we have. To appreciate our loved ones.  To show humility.  To express Thanks.

With Thanksgiving coming,  I thought we would do a segment of posts for 30 Days of Gratitude!!  Please join us in the next month in thinking positively and expressing gratitude.  Try it with us and see if you feel better in general after a month of living more positively!

Day 13:

Today I am thankful for all that I am able to provide for my family.  I am thankful that I am able to have dinner on the table and have a warm house to live. Today I will focus on giving back and helping others. This evening a group of us are meeting to collect donations to help feed families for Thanksgiving!

Challenge 13:

Appreciate all that you have and carry that love into helping another person. Gather friends to all donate food items to a local food bank. Collect clothing to give to good will. Return your cans and bottles and donate the funds to a local charity. Any amount helps. Today help others!

Gratitude Giveaway:

We would love to hear from any of you who choose to take this challenge with us.  Most of all, we really feel like it will make people feel better and live more positively.  But, as an extra perk, one grateful Deal Hunting Diva reader will win a $25 Amazon code at the end of the 30 days.

Complete each daily challenge and then simply post a comment telling us how you completed it. Leave a comment on each challenge you complete to earn an entry!  (Make sure to leave your email address in the contact info, so we can contact you if you are the winner) Come back every day to take this journey of gratitude with us!!

How did you help another today?

Leave a comment below!

Just coming aboard?  You can start today!  No worries.  The point is to live with more gratitude.  See the rest of the Gratitude Challenge and join us.

A good friend of mine has been going through a lot of hard stuff. I tried cheering her up and sending her some goodies! I keep talking to her and telling her things will be okay. I think it helps just knowing that she always has a friend to lean on! :/

I did my best to just silently be there for a special someone, allowing him to vent his frustrations, that aren’t merely minor annoyances in life, but are on a level that would leave most ppl devastated. The strength he has summoned to persevere through probably the most severe, disappointing, & heart-wrenching ordeal of his life is nothing short of amazing & I hope that his survival through this will be met with being blessed with a life full of joy.

I sent an encouraging note to a friend who recently found out that she has cancer and will be having surgery next week.
