Gratitude, Thankfulness, Gratefulness, & Appreciation

This November, I thought it would be a perfect time to give thanks and encourage everyone else to do the same!

We are firm believers that what you put it out into the universe is what you will receive back! One of our favorite books is, The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. If you haven’t read it, you really should.  It is a great reference to remind us of what is important and to stay positive.

In the busy world we live in today, it is so easy to forget to give gratitude.  To be grateful for what we have. To appreciate our loved ones.  To show humility.  To express Thanks.

With Thanksgiving coming,  I thought we would do a segment of posts for 30 Days of Gratitude!!  Please join us in the next month in thinking positively and expressing gratitude.  Try it with us and see if you feel better in general after a month of living more positively!

Day 14:

It’s important that we appreciate our own good intentions and love ourselves. Today I am thankful that I have started this journey of 30 days of gratitude. I am grateful that I can show my gratitude in my way of life.

I am grateful that I am participating in this challenge, especially during a time when it’s been really challenging to find anything in my life for which I feel grateful. Having been forced to find the silver lining in probably the darkest clouds I’ve ever seen, I’ve realized that something positive can be born from almost any bad situation. I’ve also been inadvertently “trained” to find the good out of every bad event which I should make me feel grateful, but I kinda miss being perpetually pessimistic ;-) Just kidding, I’m grateful that I’ve acquired a better outlook. It makes the bad shiv more tolerable.

I am very grateful today by being able to teach my daughter everyday that having gratitude about the simple things in life makes people believe it when you say thank you. <3

I daily look after my husband with all his meds and shots, but I do it out of love.
My daughter deserves this more then me so I would give it to her to buy Christmas gifts. Every day she wakes up with arthritis and looks after her family and my grandson who has Crohn’s disease.
She sends them off to school after passing out the medicine, takes her own meds and heads to work. She is strong and makes me feel strong.
