Gratitude, Thankfulness, Gratefulness, & Appreciation

This November, I thought it would be a perfect time to give thanks and encourage everyone else to do the same!

We are firm believers that what you put it out into the universe is what you will receive back! One of our favorite books is, The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. If you haven’t read it, you really should.  It is a great reference to remind us of what is important and to stay positive.

In the busy world we live in today, it is so easy to forget to give gratitude.  To be grateful for what we have. To appreciate our loved ones.  To show humility.  To express Thanks.

With Thanksgiving coming,  I thought we would do a segment of posts for 30 Days of Gratitude!!  Please join us in the next month in thinking positively and expressing gratitude.  Try it with us and see if you feel better in general after a month of living more positively!

Day 23:

Having a positive outlook can sometimes be tested when things take place in our lives. And if you notice once the first “bad” thing occurs and we let our mind set change, we start we attract more negative things into our lives. So learning how to stop that cycle is a must. You need to have a few things that can take you away to a positive mind set if something happens that would normally send you off into the negative land. Music, pictures, memories are awesome ways to distract and allow for you to refocus.

Challenge 23:

Today think about what positive distractions you can have ready to use when you become stressed, anxious or angry. If you are a visual person then keep some pictures stored in your phone that make you smile. If you enjoy music then crank up a song. You decide what works best for you and always have it ready to release the stress and bring on the smile!

We would love to hear from any of you who choose to take this challenge with us.  Most of all, we really feel like it will make people feel better and live more positively.  But, as an extra perk, one grateful Deal Hunting Diva reader will win a $25 Amazon code at the end of the 30 days.

My distractions are the usual: a double martini & couple of smokes. Nah, but when I’m really upset, my most effective distraction is to take a time out by heading outdoors & finding a nice place to sit where I can enjoy my electronic cigarette and do a little SwagBuck searching on my cellular device. When I’m REALLY really upset, my search might relate to what’s bothering me which is always psychologically beneficial. And, scoring a few SwagBucks ALWAYS lifts my mood.
