Gratitude, Thankfulness, Gratefulness, & Appreciation

This November, I thought it would be a perfect time to give thanks and encourage everyone else to do the same!

We are firm believers that what you put it out into the universe is what you will receive back! One of our favorite books is, The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. If you haven’t read it, you really should.  It is a great reference to remind us of what is important and to stay positive.

In the busy world we live in today, it is so easy to forget to give gratitude.  To be grateful for what we have. To appreciate our loved ones.  To show humility.  To express Thanks.

With Thanksgiving coming,  I thought we would do a segment of posts for 30 Days of Gratitude!!  Please join us in the next month in thinking positively and expressing gratitude.  Try it with us and see if you feel better in general after a month of living more positively!

Day 28:

Showing someone your grateful for them by a simple little gesture can be so much bigger then the cup of coffee you bring them. Today I will challenge myself to try to do as many little things that I can to show gratitude for others.

Challenge 28:

See how many small things you can do for others as a token to show your gratitude. Send an email, write a letter, bring a cup of coffee, smile, hold a door, hug, encourage someone are just examples of what you can do today. Think outside the box and see how your small gesture can mean so much more.

Gratitude Giveaway:

We would love to hear from any of you who choose to take this challenge with us.  Most of all, we really feel like it will make people feel better and live more positively.  But, as an extra perk, one grateful Deal Hunting Diva reader will win a $25 Amazon code at the end of the 30 days.

Complete each daily challenge and then simply post a comment telling us how you completed it. Leave a comment on each challenge you complete to earn an entry!  (Make sure to leave your email address in the contact info, so we can contact you if you are the winner) Come back every day to take this journey of gratitude with us!!

What were some of your small gestures today?

Leave a comment below!

Just coming aboard?  You can start today!  No worries.  The point is to live with more gratitude.  See the rest of the Gratitude Challenge and join us.

Be sure to leave a comment for your entry!!

The schedules for the week at work have changed, and I emailed a co-worker who lives far from work his schedule so that he didn’t have to go in to pick it up.

I always thank people for whatever they do for me – big or small. I make sure to treat people like I’d want to be treated – retailer workers, waitresses, or anyone else I encounter. Telling people to have a great day/night/weekend/etc. and smiling at them is something small and easy to do, but it can have a huge impact.

Money is no object that I ever see residing inside my purse, so I tend to always have someone in my thoughts when I’m pursuing freebies/free samples. Often, I’ll find a freebie available that is perfect for a particular person. People really appreciate being thought of enough that a person would put in the effort to request a little something for them, free or not. It’s even more of a nice surprise when it shows up in their mailbox!
I just requested a red dress pin to be sent to my mother who has survived 2 heart attacks.
