I was introduced to mineral make-up a few years ago and I will never use any other type of make-up again! I recently had the opportunity to work with Mia Mariu Mineral Cosmetics. I was very happy to do so! I received the 4 products below which included the Perfect Finishing Cream Concealer & Loose Powder Foundation, Eye Liner and Powder Bronzer!

When I selected my shades I used the Mia Mariu Perfect Shade Tool so that I was sure to have a perfect match to my skin tone!  Overall, I was extremely happy with the products I received! I love how lightweight the make-up is on my skin. It covers and conceals giving you smooth flawless looking skin that lasts all day. I am a huge fan of bronzer to give that sunkissed pop and I was not disappointed one bit!  I wanted to call in on the help of my sister-in-law, Nikol to be my model and get her thoughts as well.

Nikol started with a bare face…no make-up whatsoever!

The Perfect Finishing Cream Concealer & Loose Powder Foundation were applied first. You can see the smoothness and natural look it gives to her face.

The Powder Bronzer is applied last as a finishing touch to highlight her cheekbones and give her the natural looking glow you see below! The best part is start to finish it only takes a few minutes and you are ready to go out the door.

Mia Mariu Cosmetics has a full line of mineral cosmetics for your face, eyes and lips in a variety of shades so you can find your perfect colors for your skin tone. Once you use a natural mineral make-up you will not ever want to go back to other types. Check out Mia Mariu and see for yourself!

I regularly exfoliate my face so make up will go on smoother.

I have to agree with washing your face every night. Eat well. Beauty is from the inside, out!

My best tip… Don’t wear too much! My hubby said I looked like a clown when I “experimented” with different shades. Other than that I don’t know, since I’m, well, a newbie at make-up ^^

the best makeup tips:

always groom your eyebrows
wear mascara
mix moisturizer w/old foundation to create a tinted one
buy an emptied palette and put all [not expired or old makeup in there] to create a palette for your purse

You dont have to glob on a bunch of makeup to be prety, less is better and make sure you wash your face every night

Nikki E-T December 19, 2012 at 2:42 pm

Wash your face EVERY night…..even if it’s a day when you don’t put any make-up on.

Clean your brushes regularly. They get skin oils on them and get yucky.
